I choose the Point of Service option for a doctor's visit. Does that apply to the maximum out-of-pocket expense?
No. The POS annual deductible and cost-share amounts are not calculated in the maximum out-of-pocket. There is no limit to the amount of a patient's responsibility under the POS option.
